I meet with property managers on a daily basis to identify and fulfill customer needs. By maintaining customer relationships I am able grow current accounts and increase the amount property managed. Potential new customers are screened to make sure that we can meet their needs while remaining profitable. When closing a sale I write up a contract to lock in the specifications and price agreed upon with the buyer. Shadowed the Chief Operations Officer and witnessed upper level management techniques first hand. Experienced high pressure decision making and was able to see the day to day operations. When I was not able to observe the managerial tasks I worked as a Mechanical Technicians assistant. As a technicians assistant I serviced forklifts and other equipment to make sure they were clean, functional, and ready to operate for the next use.

Quickly learned how to lead and keep others safe on the ropes only a few days before hundreds of campers arrived. It strengthened people skills when I had to problem solve in the rare cases their was a equipment malfunction or a frightened climber. This taught me how to be clear and concise while communicating due to the fact climbers needed to feel assured and safe while climbing under my supervision.
