After being named Time Magazine's "Person of the Year"​ in 2006, I went on a journey to find my true passions - to become......... Me. Much like Derek Zoolander, I saw my reflection in a small puddle of water hugging a curb outside an elite after-party - minus the reflection, small puddle, and after-party... more along the lines of looking myself in the mirror. I was on the verge of turning 30! I tried job after job (most not even listed here on LinkedIn to protect those harmed). My venture in to various industries were filled with trial and error, love and hate, tears of joy and anguish. And then, my whole world changed - I was literally down to my last $50. Again, looking in the mirror one morning, I told myself - "ENOUGH!"​ I know what I am to do in this life. I worked 2 and 3 jobs at a time to get back in the game. And back in the game, indeed, I busted on to the scene!I recruit. I staff. I learn about families and birthdays and hear funny stories about each person's previous experiences before coming aboard whatever venture I am representing. My focus is beyond just recruiting and staffing. In a word, it's service. I serve at the pleasure of those I meet, either in person or on the phone (or on Zoom or Skype). I learn so much from those I serve. At the same time, as much as I have the heart of a teacher, I also have the heart of a student. I love to learn. I love to share, as well.Outside of my vocation, I enjoy the many fine pleasures with which the great state of California has blessed its inhabitants. Each year, I make New Year's Resolutions, and each year I achieve most, if not all. Daily rituals include reading, writing, calling a random friend to check on them, listening to music, and meditation. I'm the 3rd funniest person I've ever met and known, although, my wife disagrees....
