Indie studio publishing Washmallows ©In 2018, I founded Yourun Ltd in Malta with a singular focus: to create groundbreaking intellectual properties (IPs) in gaming and entertainment. This ambition was realized when we launched Warshmallows, which holds the distinction of being the first Nintendo Switch game to come out of Malta. My role at Yourun extends from overseeing development to raising the necessary funds to actively strategizing the business, and creative direction of our new IPs. With Warshmallows, we didn't just release a game; we took the first steps in building a comprehensive entertainment franchise. My time at Yourun is an exploration of how innovation in technology and storytelling can merge to create experiences that resonate on multiple platforms and mediums.

Video game studio pioneer in game development in MEA region.As a pioneer in video game development in the MEA region, I founded DigitalMania in 2011 with an unwavering vision: to be a versatile force in the ever-evolving gaming landscape. Over the past decade, we've successfully launched an impressive 130 games across nearly every platform, starting with our inaugural casual competitive game on Facebook, Defendoor. We quickly diversified into advergames and serious games, serving esteemed clients such as Coca-Cola, UNDP, Orangina, Orange, Ooredoo, and over 25 other prestigious brands. This portfolio expansion set the stage for us to earn the title of 'Best VR Content Provider in the MEA Region' in 2016.As Founder and CEO, I've had the privilege of steering the company's strategic and creative direction through every milestone—from diversification to global recognition—resulting in numerous worldwide awards.DigitalMania's Greatest Achievements:Teambuilding Games: With The Infinite Loop, we've led the way in tech-based teambuilding activities since 2019. We've delivered team-building experiences to over 200,000 employees globally, a feat that was especially crucial during the Covid-19 pandemic.Casual Competitive Games: Our flagship game, Warshmallows, had a multiplatform global release in Q4 2021. My role encompasses everything from strategic direction to enhancing the user experience, pushing the boundaries of what casual competitive games can achieve.The journey at DigitalMania has been one of unending innovation. We've consistently aimed for the intersection of entertainment, technological advancement, and brand synergy.

From April 2022 to January 2023, I co-founded and served on the board of Makers Factory, an initiative focused on accelerating innovation in creative sectors like gaming. Within a brief 10-month span, we raised significant funding, making us one of the best-funded programs in our niche. I took an active role in fundraising, shaping strategy and governance while fostering strategic partnerships that enriched our creative ecosystem. Though my involvement was short-lived, it was a meaningful chapter marked by community building and impactful achievements in nurturing creativity and innovation.

From August 2015 to May 2019, I was honored to co-found and serve as the Chapter Director of the Founder Institute's Tunisia chapter, the first in the region. In this role, I acted as a facilitator and mentor, spearheading programs that helped more than 100 aspiring entrepreneurs refine their business models. I also connected startups with industry professionals, fostering mutually beneficial relationships. Through organizing workshops, seminars, and networking events, we built a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem in Tunisia. The four-year journey underscored the transformative power of community and shared knowledge in entrepreneurship and innovation.

E-Sports events organization While still a student, I had the opportunity to be part of the founding team at Live it, where I served as an Event Manager for five enriching years. We organized gaming events in a variety of locations including Tunis, Paris, and San José, California. We engaged with over 15,000 on-site players and nurtured an online community of 250,000 members. One of our highlights was creating a top-ranked Counter-Strike server in the MENA region through Tunisiagames.com. This formative period taught me the incredible community-building power of gaming early on in my career.
