Responsible for leading a team of 12 engineers to deliver Windows 10 compatible to the entire Department of Labor nationwide on time and under budget.Performed technical analysis by utilizing industry leading toolsets to optimize Department of Labor (DOL) infrastructure including Riverbed Optimization, Tanium, and Windows SCCM.Added value beyond original scope by identifying a major need for laptop standardization and refresh to accommodate future OS upgrades that resulted in a relationship with DOL and a major vendor to provide 3 levels of standard laptops and a refresh cycle. As SMS Technical Director (TD) for Systems Engineering,my responsibilities include providing Subject Matter Technical Expertise and leadership for Systems Engineering to SMS employees, project managers and account managers. I set the technical standards, goals and vision for SMS employees, solutions and customers ensuring products, services and solutions are technically capable for meeting all contractual deliverables and requirements.My proposal response work has included writing the technical response section of several proposals. I served as the Technical Lead for US Army Application Migration Project. I focused on working with the US Army Information Systems Engineering Command (ISEC) to develop a business office for the movement of applications from current hosting facility to new local or Enterprise level hosting facilities. Focusing on commands affected by the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) legislation. I developed the Application Migration Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for US Army wide use.I also served as the Lead Solutions Architect for United States Health and Human Services Active Directory migration and consolidation project. My focus was on working to consolidate internal HHS Active Directory domains (8) and a single Novell Directory Services structure to a single consolidated Active Directory domain. Due to complications AD trusts were only able to be utilized for automated migration activities on 4 domains and the Novel structure. A manual migration path and plan was developed to consolidate the remaining objects while working to minimize downtime and user outages. I worked on the installation and maintenance of the United States Department of Justice data center in Dallas, Texas. Served as primary Microsoft Exchange contact for Pioneer Natural Resources including a full system upgrade of entire Exchange enterprise in 8 locations on 3 continents covering a range of network topologies. Ensured daily operation of Exchange environment from headquarters to on location on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico to Alaska's North Slope and Gabon, Africa.
