I am a motivated and confident individual, and my HSE experience to date has involved working at an operational level on large and complex projects such as transport, maritime, oil and gas and heavy resource projects. These have frequently been in challenging climatic conditions with large multi-national crews. Each role has required me to provide guidance and advice to operational and supervisory staff in line with company safe work procedures, regulatory requirements and corporate HSE policies. Understanding and managing the risk assessment process for each project is a strong skill set. I have achieved this by developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring the right questions and the appropriate level of analysis has been done. This has minimised or eliminated project hazards for employees, the environment and corporate reputation. Underpinning this experience has been the need to ensure effective and collaborative working relationships with all levels of culturally diverse operations, and I have made this a priority on each project I have been worked on. I have developed strong verbal and written skills applied effectively as a HSE Client Representative and identify strongly as a team player but can work independently when required. My motivational and people management skills enable me to relate to and communicate effectively with all levels of an organisation.
