I build and maintain Cox Communications’ primary Design System, including the design tokens. I am responsible for the system’s evolution as well as promoting adoption, alignment to business needs, system & token education, and processes related to the overall system. I work primarily in Figma: planning, updating, and building out components. tokens, and our organization’s Figma Library.

Subject Matter Expert in Design Tokens. I built components and token systems in Figma for two of Huge’s clients’ design systems. Also, helped designers and engineers with token adoption and education. Clients: Google, Cox Communications.

I built a design and tokens system, as well as enhancing the UX design of the main product for a small company in the publishing industry.

Senior Design Technologist within the Revenue Design team at JLL/T. My primary focus was on the cross-divisional design systems team, including working with the team on system documentation, planning, and governance. Extensive collaboration with many different product teams. This included advising and assisting multiple frontend engineering teams regarding the adoption and implementation of the following projects. Projects: • Design Tokens library – built automated processes that took an export of design tokens from Figma, processed them into various formats, and published a package for product app use.• React component library – built a custom deliverable that combined tokens and a collection of a dozen custom MUI components (with more under construction). These redesigned components matched the Figma components from the JLL/T design system. Worked with the UX team to make sure the components continued to meet WCAG standards.• Data Visualization library – a collection of custom-built charts, that used tokens as a foundation, for use by React product apps (initially), and matched the design system’s chart designs.

I was a Senior Creative Technologist within the Digital & Design team at Thrivent. I was part of the core DesignOps team that was building a new Design System.Projects: • Design tokens & component libraries – •• using the Figma Tokens plugin I exported the tokens out of Figma; processed them with Style Dictionary into various formats. •• began building a web components library (Li t) that integrated the design tokens library.• Proof of Concepts – collaborative work to help designers iterate ideas.

My primary duty in this role was to explore new technologies and prototype new web experiences for RL’s e-commerce websites. The main project I worked on involved presenting numerous 3D polo shirts3D polo shirt - an animated, Three.JS component that used RL’s highly detailed 3D product models. • It was built with Three.JS, Greensock (GSAP), and a custom Webpack build process. • One early iteration of the project was a Vue.JS app with the 3D component inside it.• I used Blender and 3D Studio Max to update and prep the models.
