I turned a passion into a business. I've always been passionate about food, from a young age, I enjoyed helping my grandmother cater weddings and events. After meeting my father-in-law, I started completing and winning barbecue competition. These competition led me to catering events, which eventually required a kitchen of my own, thus a foodtruck was the next step. Finally, after a very successful first year in the foodtruck, a brick and mortar, casual fine dining restaurant was the final step. From the planning and design phase, writing and revising business plans, working with vendors and contractors, designing logos, refining recipes, and hiring staff. I've done everything in the restaurant from washing dishes to waiting tables, to cooking. I enjoy speaking with patrons and making new friends while working in an ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining company datacenter with 30 physical servers and a VMware Vsphere 5.1 vCenter farm with 68 virtual servers, maintaining web farm functionality and security for 3 websites, including the proprietary POS system with Radware Linkproof load balancers, Appdirector management appliance, and Appwall application firewall. Manage Exchange 2010 email system with 700 mailboxes, Active Directory and all user account management for end user accounts and store accounts. Manage a large WAN that includes 200 stores connected via site to site VPN utilizing Sonicwall firewall appliances, each store having its own Windows Domain Controller for redundancy. Utilize Trustwave Trustkeeper to scan and maintain network security for PCI compliance. Maintain firewall integrity for Soincwall NSA 5600 firewall and SSL VPN system. Administer RSA token server to manage RSA tokens for VPN two-factor authentication tokens assigned digitally via the RSA application for mobile devices.

Administer Microsoft Exchange 2010 Email system and Microsoft Active Directory. Migrated servers from MS Server 2003 to Server 2008R2. Implemented company communications system with Microsoft Communications server. Consulted on design of new IT office building and state of the art data center.

Service Desk Manager 03/2011-06/2011All duties of the Helpdesk\Service Desk Supervisor with the addition of managing the ticketing system includes not only the Helpdesk technicians but also network\server IT, Telecom, DBA, MIS developers, building facilities, and website operations. Following ITIL guidelines, transformed Helpdesk into a full Service Desk to support the entire back end operations of the company of 800 users in 4 offices. Conduct annual reviews, coaching, and job development for employees. Responsible for budget of $400,000-500,000 annually for company hardware, software, personnel training, and salaries. Administer employees in time and attendance system. Work with executive management to ensure the Service Desk is keeping all departments running as efficiently as possible while staying within the confines of the budget.
