Chief Technical Adviser and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of environmental testing. Interpretation of test specifications, plans and procedures. Management of test equipment selection and maintenance. Created test descriptions and articles for publication in company newsletters and industry magazines and publications.

Created test procedures based on test plan and specifications for electronic and electro-optical assemblies and subassemblies. Performed Design Characterization testing (thermal and vibration) for electronic and electro-optical assemblies and subassemblies. Specified new and replacement capital test equipment.• Implemented the concept of design characterization through the use of thermal and vibration surveys that were performed for each program during the development phase, greatly reducing test failures in the acceptance test phase.• Lead the effort to establish an equipment maintenance group within the test engineering department for capital equipment. This effort resulted in financial savings through preventive maintenance.• Designed, specified, and implemented a purge process for laser optics cavities to insure that critical dewpoint requirements could be reliably achieved and without introducing unwanted contaminants into the cavity. This process substantially reduced temperature related test failures.
