Solutions are customized to fit each client’s unique needs.Engage clients in the advance formulation of FEMA disaster recovery grants to expedite the recovery funding process once FEMA hits the ground. Represent clients during the sometimes confusing path of FEMA funding through activities such as client staff engagement, conducting meetings with government agencies, data collection, analysis for eligibility, and maintaining clients' FEMA Grants Portal management responsibilities, to name but a few.Develop custom procedures for client management of their workflow and expenses to permit capture for FEMA reimbursement. Guide clients on opportunities to maximize disaster grant funding, which they may not have pursued during previous disaster declarations. Assist with recovery procurement guidance to maintain compliance with federal contracting requirements for FEMA reimbursement.Manage a FEMA Public Assistance (PA) closeout team for grant closeout. Guide the daily workflow between the state clients, ISC Closeout Team, and Subrecipients to assemble FEMA PA closeout packages. Oversee the reconciliation of construction contract payments, purchase orders, payroll, and other cost documentation and grant requirements for multi-million dollar disaster grants.Develop closeout procedures and disaster recovery cost reconciliation framework that is implemented into proprietary grant management software. Formulate a methodology for integrating elements of recovery activity and related costs that can be analyzed electronically to reconcile and identify duplication of claimed activities and costs to avoid potential fraud. Streamline the identification process for required closeout documents and compliance with federal standards for submission.
