I started my early career in public accounting and moved into sales finding the accounting background helped in crafting ROI’s and value selling. I have held senior sales roles as both an individual contributor and in sales management with excellent results benefiting my customers and the organizations that I have served. I have worked at large, matrixed organizations and very early-stage startups. One of the highlights of my career has been growing Intelligize from early stage to exit. I was able to figure out how to sell the product and then implement a repeatable and trackable process and scale the sales organization. I then moved into the CEO role and built the culture around a vision of providing a superior user experience with solutions that truly solved customer challenges. I scaled all areas of the organization and put in place a functional structure and metrics to measure and drive the success of the business. I led the successful exit selling to LexisNexis and returning 23x MOIC by selling at a 5x multiple on ARR.
