About Isaac Trimble-Pederson

I’ve had a lifelong fascination with and passion for computers and technology, starting with from childhood with my first iBook G3 in 2003. Since then, I've worked to direct that fascination towards delivering value to organizations and their users, utilizing both technical and interpersonal skills to make effective contributions.At UC Santa Cruz, I contributed to Slugbotics, working as a team lead. I led programming for the team's first competition capable ROV, or remotely-operated vehicle, for the 2018-2019 season. I then helped lead organizational improvements, including building a new team website for better maintainability, launching development of an open-source issue tracker, teaching programming skills including Git in an official university course, and helping the team build a Code of Conduct to improve team inclusivity.In industry, I continue to deliver value to users and organizations through my work in software engineering, currently working as a iOS software engineer at Insulet. My hope is to deliver high-quality code that will advance your product, as well as be an effective team member who will strive to collaborate and improve the quality of the codebases on which I work.
