Bill Price is Executive Vice President at Edelman Smithfield, a specialized boutique within Edelman, the world’s largest global communications firm. Bill works with leaders across the C-suite to build, promote and protect corporate reputations, with a focus on financial communications, strategic situations and crises – complex work that has been his expertise and passion throughout his career.  Prior to joining Edelman Smithfield, Bill served as a trusted advisor, media relations specialist, speech writer and communications leader for Zoetis, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Lucent Technologies and AT&T. He most recently served as Vice President of Corporate Communications and Chief Communications Officer for Zoetis, the world’s leading animal health company, where he helped launch the Zoetis brand and reputation management programs; shaped communications for the company’s IPO and financial communications and handled myriad crises, including shareholder activists; executive departures and a CEO succession.Bill first joined the healthcare industry in 2006, working for Pfizer, the world’s largest pharmaceutical company, as Director of Corporate Communications, and became a member of Johnson & Johnson’s Corporate Communication team in 2007, ultimately being named Vice President of Global Media Relations. Bill began his career in the tech sector, working for the telecom bellwether AT&T and its spinoff Lucent Technologies, home to Bell Labs innovations. Bill graduated from St. Peter’s College with a bachelor's degree in English and received a master’s degree in Public Communications from Fordham University. He lives with his wife, three children and a “rotation” of pets and foster animals in Morristown, N.J.
