Previous research experience covered many aspects of biophotonics, and was based primarily on optical tweezers and the biological applications of nanoparticles.Excellent communication skills, active on committees with a national level scientific society and locally for health & safety matters. Collaborative research experience with international and international partners. Experience in public outreach having participated in activities organised by Heriot Watt University; the Institute of Physics; the Royal Society of Edinburgh; the STEM Ambassadors programme and the BBC.Always looking for new challenges, interesting techniques and novel technologies!
