Coached staff during the clinic’s certification process resulting in the clinic achieving PCMH level two. Developed a team capable of working every position in the clinic to improve teamwork and patient experience. Managed all of practice’s managed care relationships, including monitoring of related reimbursement, provider credentialing, and specific payer requirements for patient care reimbursement.

Responsible for the function and operation of a multi-specialty family practice clinic belonging to NE Florida’s largest independent family practice group. Managed operations of the clinic consisting of adult and pediatric clinics with 16 providers and over 40 support staff. Managed training, scheduling and staffing of Clinicians, Medical Assistants and front office staff. Worked closely with billing staff, call center, marketing, finance and eligibility verification departments to ensure seamless operation of the clinic. Worked to resolve all patient complaints and grievances in an effective manner to ensure patient satisfaction and service excellence. Managed supply inventory and ordering process for medical supplies and immunizations. Maintained a positive relationship with vendors and local healthcare facilities. Provided medical support to over 800 Soldiers; directly responsible for the accountability, training, and welfare of 11 subordinate managers and 38 associates; operated the Battalion medical clinic, collected and reported medical data including profiles, Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) status and medical readiness for all patients assigned. Supervised the preparation of the clinic for annual inspection covering medical staff training, clinic operations and medical logistics resulting in clinic scoring above 98% in all areas. Demonstrated knowledge of Composite Health Care System (CHCS) and the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA).

Senior Instructor for the Army Trauma Training section. Certified and supervised 14 instructors. Trained 24,000 new Soldiers annually. Coordinated and managed all resource requirements including instructor support, to maximize support and meet increased student load requirements.
