Lead Technician
CurrentAs the Lead Technician at WaterSignal my background in hardware and product testing comes to shine as it affords me the ability to lead WaterSignal closer to their mission and goals.• Inspect company's water monitoring devices to insure that there is no damage that can cause leaks and that all wires are cut and connected properly.• Read through data logs to insure that all water monitoring devices and their sensor(s) are connecting to cell towers and reporting data properly to the server.• Test motherboards, modem boards and sensors for defects or reuse through refurbishment.• Communicate with the production team weekly to gain and provide feedback on how to improve our current working and testing procedures to insure an increase in production and a reduction of failed devices installed on our customer's properties.Having a diverse background in software and hardware development has helped me excel at performing my current duties. These skills include:• Being skilled with using a multimeter to test the reverse voltage of diodes, capacitance, resistance and voltage on the power rail.• Experienced working in MPLAB's IDE\IPE using an In-Circuit Debugger to install and update firmware on the microcontroller as well as using the debugger to view the contents of the microcontroller's memory and register settings. • Proficient with utilizing Putty to issue AT commands to monitor and test communications between the microcontroller and the Telit Modem.
