- Worked 10-15 hrs/week at the FedEx Forum (a local concert/sports venue), local farmer's markets and events, and at our physical storefront in downtown Memphis - Responsibilities included: serving customers, setting up & closing down portable gelato stand, opening/closing physical storefront, cleaning up after customers, restocking products, etc.

- Work as a student intern in the Wlodarski Hematology Lab at St. Jude investigating bone marrow failure/myelodysplastic syndromes, acute myeloid leukemia, and clonal hematopoiesis, among other pediatric hematologic disorders- Responsibilities include clinical blood & bone marrow sample processing, excel database analysis, DNA isolation, sequencing library prep, ROI mapping with FIJI, and other miscellaneous tasks and protocols as needed- Spend some time shadowing researchers, both in the Wlodarski Lab and in other labs nearby- Optimized DNA extraction and ultra-deep targeted sequencing protocols for a project aiming to detect somatic clonal hematopoiesis mutations from patient blood samples at extremely low variable allele frequencies

- Tutored college-level German through the University of Memphis' peer-tutoring program- Underwent training on how to use the university's online tutoring platform, however, all the sessions that I instructed were held in-person- Worked with students one-on-one, edited essays, explained grammatical concepts, etc.

- Tutored various grades in English as a Second Language - Assisted with homework, grammar practice, and vocabulary building

Lived in Germany as an exchange student with the purpose of increasing global relations between the United States and Germany through immersion in German language and culture.

- Babysitting for neighbors and friends whenever time allows

- Conducted qualitative and quantitative research on disparities in cancer treatment under the authority of mentors from St. Jude and University of Memphis - Presented findings to the CEO of St Jude, President of the University of Tennessee, and the general public at a seminar hosted by the Memphis Benjamin L. Hooks Public Library
