Currently, I am open to new job opportunities in the United States in and around the field of Civil Engineering and Structural Design.My last full-time position was in China working as a Multi-District Market Manager at Zhongheng Building Safety Inspection Ltd. While at this company, I assisted the Branch Managers technical and project needs while meeting all the customer requirements. This allowed me to improve the company service by offering effective help in technical fields that may not otherwise be available.I also worked at ZoomTech as a Steel and Structural Designer. I communicated with the partner company about the many design project problems and helped our company to charge the necessary design fees. The most important thing I learned while working on design projects was how to communicate with customers about their needs, unique situations, and financial requests.During my time in New Zealand, I worked as a designer at Vision Kitchen Design Mfg. Co. This was a wonderful experience because I was able to help customers to see their dream kitchen come alive and improve it to a better outlook and be more convenient. It was a good opportunity to improve my skills in working with a new design software. I was also a volunteer tutor in the English Language Centre of Nelson Marlborough Institution of Technology (NZ). Through this work experience, I observed that students’ thoughts and movements were shifted because their life environment had changed. I would often be a helpful ear and discuss their problems with them, providing guidance where possible, focusing on positivity, and understanding how to deal with emergency issues. These are the interpersonal skills that I brought forward from my past experiences as a counselor and teacher of Materials & Structures, AutoCAD, Fundamentals and Drawing at Guangzhou Engineering Polytechnic. Throughout my career I have also worked at many short-term contract jobs, where I review Civil Engineering projects in China as an Associate Engineer.I am full of passion and energy, eager to become a member of your team.
