William Vaughan is a dynamic general management executive with 25 years of proven strategic, commercial, and technical experience leading and managing cross functional teams in a wide variety of manufacturing industries including automotive, test & measurement, oil & gas exploration & extraction, metals production, and alternative energy. Over 15 years of international business experience outside of the United States, including expatriate experience in Europe and Asia. Over 15 years of experience developing and implementing successful business plans to achieve new business revenue and profit growth objectives organically and through strategic partnerships & acquisitions in adjacent markets.William Vaughan currently serves as Vice President of Strategic Planning, Acquisitions & Alliances for the Systems & Software business unit of Emerson Automation Solutions where he is responsible for strategic planning, acquisitions, strategic alliances, and building partner ecosystems. Emerson Automation Solutions, which provides a wide array of products, solutions, software and services for advanced process and industrial production, is a business platform of Emerson. William received a bachelor’s of science degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California (USC) and the ESADE Business School. William is also an alumni of the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management.
