From school teachers to Fortune 500 executives, I have listened to people’s problems and built products, teams, and strategies resulting in innovative solutions that revolutionized industries.I have undertaken larger-than-life challenges and succeeded: Launching and funding 2 start-ups and creating 2 high-impact technology-driven products from the initial concept to commercialization.My dedication to a cause is unwavering. When I saw the need of support materials for AP Biology teachers and students, I put together a plan of action, secured the support of Purdue University, and created a product that has impacted hundreds of students across 5 school districts in Indiana.I research the market, find where gaps begin, and create products at the point of initial need. With experience interviewing hundreds of educators nationwide, I gained valuable experience in compiling and interpreting field data to inform product development. I empathetically list and create solutions that speak to problems.My leadership extended beyond product development and commercialization to business development, talent acquisition, team building, and fundraising. I recruited and partnered with Explore Interactive’s CEO to raise venture capital and apply for NSF and NIH grants, ultimately impacting STEM education and students worldwide. Continuous learning is not only a passion of mine, but also a necessity when I consider my desire to leverage technology in making people’s lives better. I have learned much about C++/C programming, artificial intelligence, equality, and public discourse. I look forward to continue applying these learnings as well as knowledge I have not yet attained to initiatives that will positively impact future generations.
