This team consists of people with a high level of experience in manufacturing and testing of products in the company. Appointed leader of this team. This team is the interface between the Research and Development team and the Production Team.The first purpose is to provide specialist consulting to the Research and Development team during the prototyping phase of new designs. The consultation consists of optimisation of speed, cost, and ease of manufacturing of new designs. The team also provides technical assembly instructions for creation of configured assembly instruction used for production.The second purpose of this team is to provide the necessary training to production staff to manufacture new designs. This team also consults on general skill training requirement for production staff.

Investigate device faults and implementing preventative action in the form of easier assembly procedures or design improvements. Aid in prototype design and builds with the research and development department. Implement preventive or corrective measures to production procedures. Development of automated testing procedures to increase the quality control of device/product testing and testing procedures. These test procedures are developed in MATLAB and MATLAB Application Designer. The automation entails communication and control of Network analysers as well as positioners.
