Managed Business Relationships and Portfolio planning for the MES In-Plant Order Management and In-Plant Material Management taxonomy areas supporting Vehicle, Propulsion and Stamping manufacturing organizations.• Led and supported operating plan process improvements using operation excellence methods to reduce unplanned down weeks and shift reductions achieving cost savings of $100M/year.• Directed development and deployment teams to support an operation excellence process improvement project that improved shuttle utilization on sequenced commodities resulting in reduced logistic costs of $15M/year.• Defined and led implementations of smart factory solutions for multiple IoT Applications supporting in-plant automated mobile equipment and electronic rack shelf labels reducing the headcount in plants needed to support these functions. • Facilitated and led the 2019-2021 Portfolio Process for the MES In-Plant Order Management and In-Plant Material Management areas.• Guided and educated IT portfolio planners in additional MES taxonomy areas.• Maintained business relationships with project sponsors while leading nine business and IT development projects (waterfall and agile) during 2018. Managed the MES In-Plant Order Management and In-Plant Material Management taxonomy areas supporting Vehicle, Powertrain and Stamping manufacturing organizations using an outsource IT model to provide application development, application deployment, operational support, and vendor management.• Created and led an insourced team of shared resources to support business process mapping and technical writing for Manufacturing Execution Systems Projects.• Assigned and challenged team to drive successful resolution of several projects significantly at risk of missing timing.

Led application development, application deployment, operational support, and vendor management for Powertrain MES applications that included Production Monitoring, Build to Schedule, Gage monitoring, and Material management systems. • Collaborated with GM Research & Development (GM R&D) to architect an enterprise integrated solution that involved collection of large amounts of complex machine data, storing the data, transforming that data, leveraging R&D analysis algorithms to improve Production throughput resulting in pilot site cost savings of $4M dollars. Received multiple awards.• Accelerated the decommissioning of legacy drawing management system and migration of the data to the corporate standard drawing management system (Teamcenter).

Supervised IT operation activities at four powertrain manufacturing facilities in North America. • Managed a $3M operational budget.• Managed onsite support teams including activities on application management, desktop management, change management, vendor management, and disaster recovery management.• Facilitated communication between Plant management and IT organization.

Administered all Information Systems activities for Visteon Glass Division consisting of five manufacturing sites located in the USA and Mexico, representing $1B in revenue. Reported to the Vice President of the Division and Visteon Global IT Business Manager. • Separated and transitioned multiple IT systems from Ford by setting up development teams, code repository, development projects, project management and operations. Received PMI Project of the Year Award.• Completed setup of vendor EDI connections allowing receipt of data from Visteon to build requested orders.

Managed multiple plant level IT projects to maintain and support Plant operations.• Recommended, managed, and implemented IT cost savings of approximately $800K on a plant capacity expansion project.• Implemented low cost or no-cost solutions in support of new assembly lines or capacity reallocation projects.
