Senior Operations Manager
CurrentLeading a team responsible for the safe, reliable, efficient, and compliant operation and maintenance of Natural Gas Compression and Interstate Pipeline facilities in Eastern Georgia, South Carolina, and Western North Carolina.• Currently leading all aspects of operations including compression facilities, pipeline facilities and appurtenances, rights of way, and associated infrastructure.• Provide long and short term vision to a team of Operations Supervisors, COMs, and Technicians.• Responsible for instilling operational discipline and ensuring operations employees are adequately trained to identify hazards and safely carry out duties as required while delivering reliable business results.• Establish long and short term budgetary goals for the District and manage expenditures and personnel in accordance with established goals and annual budget of approximately $8M.• Promote and provide training and development opportunities to ensure all employees are challenged and growing. Assist employees with developing meaningful, realistic goals and provide opportunities to execute on those goals. Managed talent and succession planning to build a strong bench and plan for future retirements.• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvement across the operating area and organization.• Work with Pipeline Control to maximize efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction.• Identify, estimate, budget, design, and implement capital projects which ensure the long-term reliability and safety of Company facilities. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvement across the operating area and organization as a whole. Balance resources with demand to meet the needs of District projects while still ensuring safe operations.• Represent Williams with customers, businesses, property owners, contractors, emergency responders, regulatory bodies, local government officials, and the community.
