• I work alongside CCPO senior leadership to develop and manage creative solutions to the sensitive and complicated issues presented at the intersection of complex criminal prosecution and rapidly evolving technology• I leverage my years of experience in the courtroom to create IT solutions and best practices for the rank and file of CCPO, and I serve alongside them in our shared mission to achieve justice for our crime victims and our community• I work tirelessly to bridge the information and technology gaps that exist between the prosecutor’s office, law enforcement, and the court • I oversee the daily operations of our Information Services department and directly supervise our IT Helpdesk• I work with our CIO and Infrastructure Manager to meet the ever-expanding demand on our infrastructure to support the more than 400 members of the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office • I collaborate with every unit within CCPO, at every level, to assist with developing best practices and refining operations• I evaluate all of the office’s strategic applications and case management tools to ensure they effectively meet our needs and support our mission to secure swift and just prosecutions on behalf of Cuyahoga County• I am able to work on cases across different units and divisions of the office to troubleshoot various issues and to develop and maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of CCPO operations• I am specially tasked to systematically review every operation at CCPO to prepare for an upcoming office-wide conversion to an updated case management system (MatrixProsecutor)• I work with our case management vendor, Matrix, to plan and prepare for our upcoming conversion, which involves reevaluating office workflows and case structures for optimal accountability and efficiency

• I am one of three prosecutors dedicated to our county’s treatment court which targets defendants with military service that struggle with substance abuse and mental health issues• We take a non-adversarial approach while supervising veterans on probation as they meaningfully engage in treatment programs

• This was meant to be a two-year special assignment where I would use my experience as a prosecutor to inform the direction and development of our case management system, specially towards our major conversion to MatrixProsecutor. What resulted was the realization that there are limitless additional things I can do to serve the office and our community at the senior operations level of Information Services.

• Managed a revolving docket of approximately 100 felony cases which ranged from drug possession to attempted murder• Tried multiple jury trials, for charges including rape, attempted murder, aggravated robbery, felonious assault, aggravated murder (second chair), and Internet Crimes Against Children (second chair)

• Prosecuted hundreds of cases of child abuse and neglect on behalf of the Cuyahoga County Division of Children and Family Services, which included several bench trials and countless custody hearings

• Led individuals and groups of 20–40 members in instructional and conditioning workouts• Created the gym’s website and managed marketing campaigns• Led volunteer groups in neighborhood beautification efforts• Conducted martial arts seminars for nonprofit organizations that target at-risk youth

Operation Iraqi Freedom 06-08 (Camp Taji, Iraq)• Assigned to a small experimental combat unit that was specifically designed to combat an evolving asymmetric threat while still being able to earn popular support among Iraqi nationals• Our unit reduced attacks against coalition forces by 98 percent and spearheaded the Sunni Arab Awakening movement which effectively ended combat operations in IraqU.S. Army Recruiting (Buffalo, New York)• Transitioned from a combat role to locate and mentor qualified applicants for enlistment• Marketed the opportunities and benefits of military service to local educators and employersAwards include a Meritorious Unit Commendation, Valorous Unit Award, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, and the Combat Action Badge
