● Provide training seminars to wide demographic of customers - ranging from unskilled laboratory technicians to M.D / Ph.D.'s who are experts in their field, on use of life sciences equipment and software.● Self taught using tech manuals and on-the-job apprenticing to install, maintain and repair wide variety of laboratory and research equipment.● Operating autonomously, maintain a satisfied customer base across a large geographic area, encompassing the entire southeast USA, western Canada and Asia.● Manage over $1MM in annual service contracts in territory, while consistently achieving over 105% of revenue goal, year over year.● Educate users specific to their area of research on how to best utilize the preclinical imaging instrument in order to obtain grant funding, publication, or graduation.● Calibrate bioluminescent, fluorescent, X-ray, uCT, and PET imaging equipment, ensuring that devices quantify signals accurately.● Program automated liquid handling equipment, calculating viscosity of reagents and RNA, to optimize chemistry and biochemistry processes.● Network and integrate laboratory equipment made by a competing OEM's, ensuring that multiple devices communicate properly.● Manage service territory by providing time with laboratory managers, principal investigators, scientists, and researchers; ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.● Comfortable working in hospitals, clinical laboratories, pharmaceutical R&D labs, petrochemical manufacturing QA labs, animal vivariums, and trade shows.● Provide daily and weekly updates to Sales, R&D, QA, and Service, communicating to other team members any opportunities for business growth and development.● Using direct contact with many customers, promotes and represents professional and positive face of company, helping to inform customers on new products and increase sales.
