Essential Functions; Maintain work flow by working with operations to include scheduling daily, weekly and monthly jobs. Prioritize goals.Work to increase production to help meet budgetary goals, monthly and yearly.Work with shop foreman to make sure all service jobs are being completed by scheduled deadline.Customer relations to include scheduling field service jobs and or customer troubleshooting needs. Schedule customer request for dyno testing.Work with reman supervisor to insure efficiency in building product for the shelf as well as keep customer demand work flow completed in a timely manner.Maintain a training program in affect for service technicians on Perkins, Deutz, Detroit Diesel and other manufactures engines when job dictates demand.Insure that an overall shop/company safety program is in affect to include monthly safety meetings and to insure stock levels on safety gear are maintained.Work with back parts counter on work orders for shop jobs to include sock as well as making sure inventory on work orders is charged out according to demand on work orders.Create and fine tune engine work orders for efficiency.Work with all departments on company policies, procedures and goals and the enforcement there of.Maintain a shop program on maintaining equipment and building maintenance.Work with shop foreman and reman supervisor in maintaining quality control.Work with supervisors on employee issues and or concerns to include being a work on time, vacation , sickness, moral, attitude, work efficiency. Develop programs to reward employees for great accomplishments in the shop. Work with shop foreman on engine warranty concerns.

Maintain employee work flow for seasonal and non-seasonal merchandise for inside Garden, Lumber, mil-Works, Tools and Hardware Departments. Communicate with customers on required merchandise needs and assist with product knowledge of all products available to the customers.

Inspection, troubleshoot and repair of Detroit Diesel Engines to include tear down and rebuild of Detroit Diesel Engines.

Job location required travel to offsite locations to inspect, start and run emergency generators for emergency power. Perform required repairs as well as semi-annuals and annuals to ensure proper operation of engine.
