Starting in November 2015, I filled volunteer shifts three times a week at the Tallahassee Forecast Office. This position afforded me the opportunity to gain experience with standard operations and technology employed by the NWS. During my shifts, I conducted upper air radiosonde observations, trained and assisted on near, short, and long term forecast.
