I am currently a Hospitality Business student at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). I graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Tourism and Resort Management, and 2 minors in Social Media Marketing and Foreign Language (Korean). During the final semester of my diploma studies, I undertook a 6-months internship at SportsHub under Precinct, Venues Team. After the much fulfilling internship, I realised that it aligned with my future career goals in event management, and thus made the choice to take a gap-year upon graduation and continued as a full-time at SportsHub.Working full-time at Kallang Alive Sports Management as an Executive in Venue Operations under Precinct Team has allowed me to be involved in major events such as Coldplay and Taylor Swift concerts. My diploma studies have aided me greatly in terms of the foundation understanding of the tourism industry, especially events. After almost 2 years of working, I have decided to further my studies by enrolling in SIT in hopes to gain more knowledge on the hospitality industry that I am still highly interested in.
