Being someone who is at ease in a conference room, a greenhouse, or an open field, my mission is to transform the vision and dream of sustainable agriculture, regenerative value chains, and food systems technology into reality.I shape and drive regenerative initiatives across farms and NGOs that transform agriculture supply chains to create nutritious and equitable food systems. I shift program bottlenecks into strategic impact-opportunities, build stakeholder networks from rural farmers to PhDs and executives, and communicate best-practice around regenerative agriculture, sustainable supply chains, and inclusive business.Some of my impact to date includes:• Introduced regenerative agriculture techniques while farming and ranching, supporting farm-model transition, food systems diversification, zero-chemical additions, cover-cropping, no-till, composting, and managed grazing in Colorado, North Carolina, Guatemala, Portugal, France, Martinique, and Thailand. • Developed and managed Adaptive Multi-Paddock (AMP) grazing strategies for 200+ acre urban ranch for livestock (Cow/Calf to Finishers, Dairy, and Sheep.)• Built, maintained, and operated a ~2 acre diversified vegetable and fruit hydroponic/soil hybrid farm on the island of Andros in the Bahamas. • Increased automation and resiliency of crop management system through researching and evaluating cultivar and feedstock selection, integrating renewable energy, constructing closed-loop waste management systems, and developing strong buyer-seller relations with local farming Mennonite community.• Presented analysis to Interface’s EU Director of Sustainability on four of the companies in their Climate Take Back program. • Implemented innovative NGO accelerator program in Berlin, Germany.• Facilitated $4K in grants to onboard and support local farmers.
