Hello my name is Wyatt! I am currently pursuing a Masters' Degree in Computer Science with a focus in Computer Graphics at the University of Kentucky. I studied both computer science and physics during my undergraduate studies at Purdue University.I have been passionate about computer science since before I took my first computer science class in high school. I has an interest in designing modifications to existing video games that would improve the user experience or add new features. I love setting time aside to learn a skill on my own that I enjoy learning or that I see helping me in the future - which is how I was able to learn Java on my own before taking a Java course in school.

We used Microsoft Azure to test our product to ensure that it was up to the standards set by the company.

We worked on a relatively new application which we needed to make compatible with most smart phone devices and tablets. I enjoyed the intern events that UPS hosted throughout the summer - the scavenger hung throughout downtown Louisville was my favorite. UPS also hosted a hackathon for interns which I found fun and interesting. We created an app which allowed the user to view and interact with a 3D model of a UPS plane, and even though we only got 4th place in the competition I got a lot out of it.

Our job was to make a new website based off of an outdated existing site. The old site was made 20 years ago so it looked outdated, and it didn’t have good security. We made the site more user friendly and gave it a modern look. None of us knew about web development before this summer, so we found this internship very useful. I would recommend anyone pursing computer science to get an internship at UPS. I learned much more at UPS than I did in a semester at Purdue.
