My name is Wyatt Wood and I grew up just outside Denver, Colorado. From a young age I have grown up exploring and playing in the surrounding outdoors. From small local excursions in my backyard to traveling the World internationally, I have always had a draw to exploring the Worlds greatest experiences. Growing up, both my mother and father were culinary chefs for many years of their lives and from a young age my dad owned a hotel and restaurant inspection company. A fully emersive business structure, Guest Check, gave me a very detailed oriented background in understanding culinary cleanliness and hospitality standards from the other side of the show. My background and experience runs deep and my passion and desire to improved myself and the company I work through is of high importance for my future.In my past I worked at Golden Bike Shop as a salesman/demofleet manager managing the sale and rental of upscale mountain bicycles. I was began working here as a volunteer before I was old enough to work, and 4 years later I was working full time and had created a position for myself on a team of many of my best friends and co-workers.This position taught me the importance of my attention to detail and allowed me to build connections with all types of customers and sales distributers in the industry. I work in a high paced restaurant where I practice keeping cool in fast passed scenarios while making sure guests enjoy experience and continue to come back creating memories to last. With a medium sized cocktail bar, beer, wine, spirits and mixed drink creation developed my ability to be a talented bar tender. Restaurants in small towns are notorious for our high volumes in summer and small local traffic in offseason which allowed me to be capable of serving and bartending for both types of crowds. We also are a music venue in which I bartend for live music events usually bartending for 30-100+ people.Graduating Western Colorado University in the Spring of 2022 is one of my greatest achievements in my life and I will be looking to find myself in a position where I am able to help a business implement their goals and practices with the use of me on their team. My comfortability in the workplace and ability to improve a business around me places me in a position where I am confident in my ability to to help any employer looking to level up their business.
