I helped create and build out the first analytics department in USC program history. This included the integration and implementation of markerless motion capture and portable Trackman within the program; use of exit and ball flight data for player development, and the construction of the program’s first model driven internal site used for advance scouting and player evaluationsI educated our entire analytics team on the physics behind basic bio mechanics, pitch metrics, and ball flight data, while managing the team of 10+ into the season before I graduated

I help advise the PL team on their ratings of players, along with what tools and methods they use to evaluate. These discussions range from the usage of particular metrics/data points, to individual biomechanical traits that may be advantageous to players as they develop.

I will be serving as the Organizational Scouting Director for Prospects Live for the San Diego Padres organization. As the PL Scouting Director for the org, I will grade and evaluate players in the Padres organization, making projections, along with rankings of the players in the Minor League system. As a director, it will be my job to manage the reports that come in from the 4-5 other members of the scouting team covering the Padres organization, compiling all of the data together in order to rank and prioritize certain prospects over others.I will additionally be working within the Prospects Live organizational scouting teams focusing on the Los Angeles Dodgers, Miami Marlins, St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees, and Washington Nationals organizations.

I perform analytical and mechanical analysis on MLB Draft prospects for the site. Working with the rest of the draft team, I cover a wide range of events, writing on player performances and data driven projections. In addition to draft coverage, I am a writer for the site mostly covering arms, where I put out articles on minor and major leaguers, and what the data says about their trends (floor, ceiling, direction they are headed, etc). I also work on the fantasy section of the site, giving weekly updates on starting pitchers.

In this internship role, I serve as an extension to the coaching staff in player development; My primary role is to run and process the day to day baseball ops video for an affiliate (A+ Great Lakes), aid in putting together data based advance/game strategy work, operate tech for PD (Edgertronic, Trackman, Stalker, SONY hfr, CANNON vixia, Microsoft Office, and BATS), and process the data and information obtained through the use of PD tech. On site (GL), I also contribute to and conduct data based projects, and write: - Player (dev) plans- Forward looking player write ups- Scouting reports- Budgeted roster building/construction projects- Write ups on observations of PD trendsIn this role I have also worked as a spanish translator for players. My overall work helps optimize PD, provides information for PD staff, helps aid in future front office decisions, and is molding me into a future front office/baseball ops asset.

I worked as a content intern for Baseball Cloud for the fall of 2020In this role, I worked with the BaseballCloud staff to complete content-focused projects by using the company’s expansive inventory of collegiate and professional baseball data. The position demanded a commitment of at least 20 hours per week. The work I completed is published on the BaseballCloud site/blog and will be used by both the DSSV staff and BaseballCloud clients.In this role, I also had access to the R&D team, along with all of their software and models to aid in my work.

Every summer since 2015 I have worked as a coach at a local baseball camp. This has helped me gain crucial organizational and management skills in working with many children at a time.

I served as a part time volunteer spanish teacher at USC Hybrid High School in downtown. I taught students between grades 10-12 Spanish 1. Associated with USC Joint Education Program.

Worked as Brand Ambassador for Coca-Cola for the 2018 Major League Baseball All-Star Game and the events surrounding it.

I served as an ambassador for CHLA's endocrinology department. In this role, I raised money for the hospital, worked multiple hospital events, spoke to families with children about to undergo treatment, and various other roles on behalf of the hospital.
