As a college student, I prioritize independence, community, and trust. Independence- My senior year of high school, I was selected to participate in a Johns Hopkins University sports analytics internship in which I independently completed an advanced research project which was later applauded by my peers and advisor. Community Oriented- In high school, I was one of twenty students selected to assist kids struggling in math. Once I began tutoring students, we saw tremendous improvement with some of their grades improving as much as a D to a B within a few months. Trustworthy- As a rookie counselor at Camp Airy, my department head was sick and the counselor who she normally turned to was on a trip with his campers. Therefore, because of my strong work ethic and track record, she put the trust in me out of ten other counselors to run the department and things went as smooth as they could have gone, as all activities ran perfectly with multiple campers stating their enjoyment for the day. Interests: Baseball | Movies | Creative Writing | MusicI am always looking to expand my network and learn more about different career paths.
