As the Lead for Access Partnership in Africa, I lead it's government affairs, regulatory and market access strategy for African, providing strategic vision and direction to the clients we support.• Serve as a trusted advisor to governments and clients, offering technical and regulatory guidance by evaluating landscapes, identifying opportunities/risks, and delivering insights into market dynamics.• Demonstrated expertise in telecommunication and ICT regulatory frameworks, policies, and compliance requirements across Africa.• Conduct research and analysis to ensure adherence to licensing conditions and develop strategies for regulatory compliance.• Support obtaining crucial international spectrum allocations from ITU, regional bodies, and national governments for telecoms services.• Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with government, regulatory authorities, industry stakeholders, and partners to resolve issues and facilitate market access.• Represent Access Partnership and its client interests at key international and regional forums like ITU, WRC, ATU, SADC, EACO and ECOWAS through active participation.• Actively engaged in the WRC-23 cycle, advocating and securing support for the clients' positions among African administrations.• Formulate and direct regulatory advocacy campaigns, making contributions to government consultations to shape favourable policy landscapes.• Provide insights and analysis on emerging technology policy areas like Cloud and Data, AI, Platform Regulation, Cybersecurity and Fintech, supporting executive decision-making.• Facilitate dialogue between clients and governments on cutting-edge telecoms policies like Broadband connectivity, Direct-to-Device and HAPS technologies.

• Oversee all Legal & Regulatory aspects of the Company by reporting into the CEO and CFO • Provide guidance and advice to the Company, the Board and Operating Companies (OpCo’s)on all legal and regulatory matters including ethics and good governance;• Oversight of the Legal and Regulatory environment for Smile Group;• Provide legal, regulatory advice and support to CEO, CFO, Executives, Senior Management and OpCo’s;• Draft, review and negotiate commercial and telecommunications contracts with suppliers, partners and vendors;• Craft and drive active engagement programmes by identifying and engaging the right political partners to actively grow our network;• Review all legal and regulatory changes and advice the Company accordingly;• Provide support to marketing, sales and distribution in determining any market issues that require legal and regulatory intervention;• Compiling and communicating monthly progress against Smile’s objectives;• Oversee all aspects relating to the Regulatory and Public Policy strategy for the Company;• Develop a strategy for stakeholder engagement and coordination of compliance monitoring across all OpCo’s;• Collaborate with industry colleagues and Trade Associations, working groups to drive the business’ overall agenda;• Liaise with Regulatory bodies in Nigeria, Uganda and Tanzania as well as the Regional Regulatory bodies ATU, SADC, EACO and ECOWAS;• Monitor developments in the legal and regulatory and governance environment and keep abreast of new policies and legislation as well as changes to existing legislation in the countries we operate;• Help maximize policy opportunities and minimize threats in Africa;

• Create a favorable environment for Ericsson with Regulators and Policy makers in sub-Saharan Africa;• Proactively influences and build relationships with key policymakers, industry organizations, government and the ICT sector to prioritise public policy issues across sub-Saharan Africa;• Identify, analyze, describe significance and provide opinions of legislative and regulatory (and related policy) initiatives and trends to the telecom market across sub Saharan Africa;• Arrange regulatory workshops, roundtables and other advocacy opportunities to position Ericsson as a thought leader and to identify new advocacy opportunities;• Keep up-to-date with the relevant, country-specific regulatory and socio-economic environments,policies, procedures and compliance requirements;• Strategic planning, direction and development of appropriate policies in relation to the ICT sector;• Represent Ericsson in meetings with government, industry associations and civil society to enable a transparent and technology friendly regulatory environment;• Develop, lead and implement government affairs advocacy objectives and policy/political priorities for Ericsson across sub Saharan-Africa;• Developed a position paper on new technology transformation for Africa;• Coordinating the qualitative and quantitative analysis on intended legislation, regulation and/or policies which may have a significant impact on Ericsson in Sub Sahara Africa;• Identify opportunities to advocate Ericsson’s policy recommendations by systematic monitoring oflegislative and regulatory agendas and intelligence gathering in key markets• Recommend business and technical solutions/alternatives to drive and support businessresponses to regulatory developments;• Produce clear and accurate briefing papers, case studies and presentations on regulatory topics to governance groups and external forums;

• Responsible for the legislative and regulatory dimensions of assigned public policy issues by developing strategic SAB responses, and where necessary, policies, on these key legislative and regulatory issues. Assist and provide advice to Amalgamated Beverage Industries (ABI) on regulatory and compliance issues that may impact on the business.• I develop and maintain a cache of relevant and reliable data, and communicate the value thereof in order to assess the impact that any legislative and policy changes may have on the business and advice thereon.• Provide strategic insight around government’s regulatory agenda by influencing and motivating to mitigate such risk arising from these regulatory developments and explore opportunities for SAB to achieve its strategic and commercial objectives.
