Africa, Middle East and India Assist with the organization and development of Jeppesen ground handler (vendor) program by:- Establishing Jeppesen presence and credit at Handler locations- Monitor and liaison with ground handler companies or agents regarding pricing and service quality issues- Achieve discount and commissions with vendors and monitoring that such discounts and commissions are being implemented- Maintaining/Updating airport and handler data within Jeppesen's internal database- Maintaining a program for the continuous monitoring of handler performance- Travel to ground handler locations domestically and internationally to conduct service and facility assessments- Initiating investigation and applying necessary corrective action to handler audits - Investigating major service failures by handlers- Enhancing personal contacts across the Jeppesen Handler Network- Implementation, updating and distributing the Jeppesen Ground Handling Service Requirements Manual- Initiate action and/or make recommendations to the ITP staff and management to correct and improve Ground handler relations, services, processes and procedures or reduce costs - Planning for key events such as airshows, major sport events, and other high profile events- Represent Jeppesen at industry conventions and meetings
