As editor I focus on cutting and stitching interviews, commentary, conversations, and music into full length episodes. I listen in on recording sessions and give feedback to the hosts. and regularly communicate with the hosts on capturing the voice of the show and of each host. My role also includes extracting clips and great moments to add to the show's socials to give our audience a glimpse into the content and energy of the podcast.

Conducted research for daily stories and long-term projects, pitched story ideas at the daily editorial meeting, booked interviews, logged recordings of interviews and events, edited interviews and segments to prepare for on air release. Special focus on helping with Morning Edition’s 2020 presidential election coverage using audio production.

The Learning Manager accompanied all staff and volunteers with the educational and social development of the surrounding community. Facilitated on-campus enrichment and community engagement and assists volunteering young adults in the development of their potential as effective human resources in their home communities. Developed curriculum and strategies for learning and growth based on needs of the program as well as skills and abilities of participants.
