As project manager at YSI I had the responsibilities of preforming import/export operations, managing a team to execute multiple operations projects, recruiting and training staff members as well as new hires, and translating Japanese/Mandarin documents. I also had sales responsibilities finding customers for our products, and managing relationships with them.One of the projects I had to drive was signing contracts with Faxconn, which was the biggest electronic consumer assembly company in Taiwan. I had to identify who the suppliers of Faxconn were and why they were not buying from us, determine what we can offer to make them our customers, find a representative to work with us, develop a contract and negotiate a deal. The deal was successfully closed and Faxconn became one of our biggest customers.

Master Inn was a brand new hotel in Taiwan. As BOM I had the responsibilities of managing and training a team of receptionist, management of the supply chain for all hotel needs, conducting standard operating procedure that included daily work and customer service, ensuring front desk provides a professional and friendly service for customers, and handling complain from customers and motive the staffs. I also had to do research on using new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency, such as moving all our book keeping from manual paper operations to a computerized system. My human resources responsibilities and tasks included determining employees needs, hiring employees, overseeing assignment of employees and planning staff development, as well as training and supervising new employees and tracking and measuring staff performance.
