I dedicated two years leading a group of undergrads on a spatial cognition project in Dr. Douglas Nitz's Systems Neuroscience Lab, delving into the neurological mechanisms behind reference frame transformation. The project has allowed me to develop general scientific skills, such as collaborative problem solving, and acquire some familiarity with the literature related to the hippocampus. I also possess specialized skills for electrophysiology, such as micro-drive assembly and tetrode pinning. Additionally, I am proficient at performing vivarium and lab maintenance tasks and logistical duties.
