The Avocado Jazz & Fun festival is a unique and jazz-infused fundraising event for Unity Center of Miami, located in Southwest Miami-Dade County. The first #avocadojazz festival was a great success and plans are already being formalized for upcoming Avocado Jazz events throughout the year.Our team is responsible for the publicity and promotion for the Avocado Jazz festival as well as brand development. We also book the jazz artists that perform in our Avocado Jazz series.

• Active in the development of a small social development cooperative agency.• Assisted in development of web page, created and maintain social media platforms for agency; participated in development of policies & procedures; created case management forms; established contact with pro bono consultants to assist with capacity building; researched, wrote, and submitted agency’s first grant-program and grant funding it; represented agency at various activities in the community including but not limited to health fairs, provider meetings, et al; and other duties that applied.• Responsible for research, development, outreach, writing and submission of agency’s first grant application which was approved.

I support Founder / Executive Director of social service agency in Miami in establishing programmatic foundation. Agency offers targeted case management and is expanding. It is in this light that my primary roles come into focus.
