Coordinate the center's research activities in neuromorphic vision and AI hardware design, ensuring alignment with the challenges and needs of industry customers. Propose innovative technology concepts in these areas and secure funding to mature and turn these concepts into transferable IP to industry customers. Develop and execute a strategy and marketing plan to promote adoption of our IP. Develop and manage collaborative relations and partnerships with universities, research organizations, and technology companies active or interested in neuromorphic vision.

Coordinate Horizon Europe NimbleAI research project (10 M€, 19 partners). NimbleAI leverages key principles of energy-efficient visual sensing and processing in eyes and brains, and harnesses the latest advances in 3D stacked silicon integration, to create an integral sensing-processing neuromorphic architecture that runs computer vision algorithms efficiently in resource- and area-constrained endpoint chips.Liaise and seek alignment with other relevant initiatives in the area of neuromorphic and energy-efficient AI hardware design.

Establish and coordinate the Neuromorphic and AI Technologies Working Group to advance the development and adoption of neuromorphic technologies in Spain, covering physical, circuitry, and architectural levels. This group unites Spanish research centers and universities with industry to drive technology transfer and deep-tech startup creation, bringing together over 30 organizations.

Manage Arm technology outreach to the academic community and pre-competitive research organizations in the EMEA region to enable and promote Arm-based education, research and entrepreneurship. Develop and execute a strategy and marketing plan for the program in this region. Develop and coordinate the relations with a network of academic and business partners (i.e., semiconductor/EDA companies, OEMs, distributors and publishers), conducting initiatives with them to help Arm ecosystem grow. Understand and categorize research use cases in universities and pre-competitive research organizations and identify new initiatives with potential to have an impact in Arm's business. Represent Arm in UK university industrial advisory boards. Provide technical leadership in creating FPGA-based SoC reference designs using Arm technologies.
