• Perform high complexity test and review lab results with Medical Directors and healthcare providers• Participate and maintains records on patient blood type and HLA/Crossmatch platelets• Document all corrective actions, specifically RL6, deviations, recalls and look-backs• Prepare blood products such as red blood cells, plasma, platelets and cryoprecipitate• Assist with receiving, identifying, accessing and processing specimens• Operate and maintained laboratory equipment to perform simple and complex testing

• Monitors and reports on stocks supplies and equipment for assigned Clinical Laboratories section(s)• Verifies accuracy of receiving documents against orders, and corrects any discrepancies• Prepares inventory reports and maintains records for inventory system • Follows quality practice and procedures according to lab and FDA guidelines

• Train and onboard new administrative staff • Ensure correct demographics and insurance information updated in EMR• Work closely with HIPPA regulatory information on a daily basis• Manage and update policy and procedures to stay in compliance with OSHA

• Labeled and documented specimen samples for medical lab• Scheduled patients to lab test sites for MRI/CT/Nuclear Medicine Lab• Manage patient database; filed, organized, and scanned information into EMR• Participated in quality assessment and quality improvement regarding ED co-pay, customer service, improving training procedures and materials
