It suddenly hit me like lightning, awakening the night sky in bright glory. I could be a teacher. I spent the ladder part of my military career grooming soldiers straight out of school and ones new to the public affairs career field. I was training myself to be a teacher. After more thought and encouragement from other peers who did the same, I knew I had to try. Since I obtained my teaching certificate, I have been guest teaching for the past 18 months and loving the job. It allows me to let students know they are unique and lead them on the path to being outstanding stewards of the world. Not to mention being critical thinkers!I look forward to relaying to parents the wonders their children are achieving in the classroom or their potential with a little hard work. What I used to do.
