I am a balanced blend of experience and wisdom, a possessor and yet still a seeker of both knowledge and skill. To date I have accumulated twenty years of experience comprised of network & systems administration, network engineering, enterprise architecture, project management, and about five years managing teams of administrators such as myself. I have a proven record of successful implementations and strategic decisions, both of which produced tangible value for previous employers.I am not crippled by fear of possible failure and I highly value personal responsibility, which means I take ownership of my actions and I do not hide from accountability. Scuba diving has afforded me many opportunities to apply risk management techniques and real-time troubleshooting in actual life or death scenarios - it is a hobby which demands excellence and an uncompromising attitude in decision-making.I can be very direct in my communication style, but I express myself with tact and respect. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to clearly articulate a course of action to someone unfamiliar with technical terminology. I am a very positive person so I work hard to encourage those around me and I genuinely share in the joy of others' successes. I live and work with integrity and I have high ethical standards – I am unashamedly Christian and every moment is an opportunity to demonstrate that through my choices. I am strongly self-motivated and have an outstanding work ethic but I maintain appropriate boundaries to protect my personal time and prevent burn-out.Through the years I have been brought through my failures by grace. I am continually blessed with wisdom to understand my weaknesses and find better ways to reduce their impact in my life.
