I am a dedicated Computer Science honours student and an excellent Software Engineer. In my current position, I am a full stack developer who solves complex problems related to efficiently handling billions of records by making use of Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL. My honours research project deals with improving the training strategy of CNNs by evaluating different training techniques. My main subjects are within the broad fields of AI and computer security, including aspects of digital forensics.I graduated at the top of my class at the University of Pretoria in 2022 with a degree in BSc Computer Science. Throughout my degree I worked with a multitude of programming languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, C++ and C#. Designed and implemented a mobile app to convert meetings into shareable pdf documents. This gave me full stack experience in technologies like React-Native, NestJS, GraphQL, MongoDB and Azure. I truly have a passion for problem solving, creating unique solutions and seeing my ideas in action. I am looking for an exciting job in Dublin, Ireland.
