My roles in the company were as follows:- Winning new suppliers through email and calls as well as at industry trade shows and multiple visits to wholesale markets and suppliers in The Netherlands and Spain- Sole responsibility for Spanish imports- Daily use of Spanish and French language to manage partnerships- End to end supply chain management with French and Dutch logistics partners

Gateley Hamer is a market leading property consultancy. I built out future business opportunities through market research. This involved:- Looking for potential development sites affected by power lines and finding the relevant developers and key contacts for these sites- During two months’ research I found 50 sites, each with a lifetime fee earning potential of between £10,000 and £100,000. This amounted to a 25% increase in the company’s enquiry pipeline and provided valuable evidence to the company's holding company, Gateley Plc of the need to expand the team's size

I joined Mark Warner's flagship 4 star winter hotel as a Customer Host working in the Customer Services Team. In mid-January, I was promoted to Head of Customer Services at short notice due to a colleague's injury. With no training and limited knowledge of the position I managed to improve on the existing high standards of the Customer Services team which consistently achieved excellent feedback from guests.Key roles:- Responsibility for the smooth running of guest transfer day including the preparation of a hotel room and coach transfer list and seeing to ad-hoc guest requirements - Providing a warm welcome to new guests throughout the day and at a welcome speech in order to create the all-important positive first impression.- Motivating a team of four Customer Hosts to pass on resort knowledge and provide the best experience possible for guests.- Working alongside other Heads of Departments to ensure the smooth running of the hotel, eg, passing on guest requests, phoning local suppliers to amend orders and providing up to date guest lists.- Speaking French on a daily basis and maintaining an excellent rapport with Mark Warner partner companies (ski school, ski equipment hire and lift pass company) which helped when dealing with customer complaints.

Lanner helps very large businesses to become more efficient through the use of its business simulation software and services.I worked on the launch of Lanner's new cloud simulation service by: - Testing software - Creating a user manual - Designing tutorial sheets to guide users through the new product- Looking at ways to simplify the user experience- Liaising with website designer on these new features

I was responsible for running the bar alone: -Opening up, serving customers and closing down -Providing prompt and welcoming service whilst maintaining a clean and well organised space-Ensuring till sales readings match income received (cash, cheque and credit) and securing the day’s takings in the safe

Involved in the running of a student discount card selling 1000 cards including:- Recruitment/management of a body of students to sell the cards during freshers events- Design of information leaflets - Formulation of exit strategy, accepting the highest bid over a minimum threshold

Security steward at Wimbledon, the Open Golf and several London based exhibition hall events- Public facing role required courtesy and patience when dealing with customer queries- Determined but calm attitude when faced with public complaints, aggressive behaviour and 12 hour days- Promoted to work in the Photographers' Liaison Office during Wimbledon Championships 2016- Trained to become SIA licenced Door Supervisor badge holder

-Provided English language tuition to small classes of Spanish students aged between 5 and 60-Devised suitable lesson plans for varying age groups-Enthusiastic and innovative delivery of lessons to ensure engagement and progression of students -Discussion of viewpoints with older students on topics as widespread as the European debt crisis and cruelty in bull fighting.
