Ubie is Japan's largest patient engagement platform that serves millions of patients and tens of thousands of providers every month. We've worked with 70% of the world's largest biopharma companies to find, educate, and activate patients, as well as providers with our AI-powered tools.My role at Ubie is to lead our commercial expansion to the US market. My main focus is on business development & sales to life science clients and their marketing agencies. However, I also play a key role in our marketing strategy & product development for the US healthcare ecosystem.Key achievements include:- Launched our first US pharma collaboration with a top 20 firm- Pioneered channel partnership strategy with marketing agencies, leading to buy-in from 5+ top firms- Identified care access as key barrier to impact in US, so developed partnership with Zocdoc to enable frictionless scheduling

While Syntegra has paused its operations, we continue to license our off-the-shelf synthetic datasets opportunistically. We also retain the capability to generate new synthetic datasets if needed.

As Head of Growth, I stepped in to lead all operations, including sales, marketing, fundraising and product strategy. The cofounders and I worked closely to raise awareness of and build a market for high-fidelity synthetic data, offering both off-the-shelf licensable datasets and generation of synthetic versions of other datasets.Key acheivements:- Developed a channel partnership with Datavant, a leader in healthcare data & privacy, giving Syntegra access to their sales team + hundreds of clients and guaranteeing $250K in payments- Established healthcare's first free data offering of patient-level data as part of a freemium product-led growth strategy- Built a partnership with Atropos Health to enable faster and more flexible analyses, including guaranteed revenue shares- Led our Series A fundraise leading to interest from 20+ top VCs- Reached short-list for Syntegra's first enterprise deal with Optum

With foundational partnerships at Mayo Clinic and Duke, nference leverages cutting-edge natural language processing to harness unstructured clinical notes to drive new insights.My role at nference was to develop additional data-sharing partnerships with academic medical systems similar to Mayo. However I expanded the role to include new venture creation, corporate development, product strategy, and sales operations. I also pioneered new partnership models with community health systems and cancer institutions.
