Creative Producer | High-Profile Leadership EventsDenkproducties Feb 2018 - PresentSince 2018, I’ve had the privilege of being the quiet creative engine behind some of the most inspiring leadership events in the Netherlands. Working alongside Hans Janssen, the founder of DenkProducties, has been an absolute pleasure—his vision and energy are contagious, and together, we’ve brought big ideas to life in a way that truly resonates with audiences. One of the standout moments? Producing the Forward Thinking Leadership event with President Barack Obama. My role involved designing a captivating stage, coordinating closely with the Secret Service, navigating complex logistics, and building a custom VIP village. Every element had to come together perfectly to ensure the focus remained on delivering an unforgettable message. And then there’s the Amsterdam Business Forum. We’ve hosted incredible speakers like Yuval Harari, Simon Sinek, Brené Brown, Adam Grant, and even Usain Bolt. My role? Make sure every part of the production—from the smallest details to the big moments—runs like clockwork, so these world-class thinkers can take the spotlight. -
Executive- And Creative Producer | Tnw (The Next Web) ConferenceTnw Jan 2006 - Jul 2024For almost two decades, I had the incredible opportunity to build TNW (The Next Web) Conference from the ground up into one of Europe’s most talked-about tech events, drawing over 15,000 attendees. As executive and creative producer, I made it my mission to constantly push the limits of what a tech conference could be.From unforgettable speakers like Tim Ferriss, Will.I.Am, Zoe Saldana, Gary V, Randi Zuckerberg, and Tim Berners-Lee to bringing the impossible to life—like Casey Neistat wakeboarding through Amsterdam’s canals, a live hologram of President Zelenski, and even a gladiator arena in the Gashouder—creativity had no limits. We embraced every new technological breakthrough, whether it was video mapping, real-time tracking systems, 3D environments, or integrating generative AI into our opening shows. But TNW wasn’t just about tech. We infused it with festival vibes, surprising attendees with live performances from artists like Dr. Lektroluv, Colin Benders (Kyteman), and Jeangu Macrooy. We made bold, sustainable choices—opting for local suppliers, green energy, reusable materials, and a fully vegetarian menu—which earned us the "Gouden Giraffe" for Sustainability in 2024. And the pinnacle? Receiving the EUBEA award for the best conference in Europe during a special ceremony in St. Petersburg—a moment I’ll never forget. -
