I worked in Prof. Amit Meller's lab to develop plasmonic nanopores to enable high-resolution fluorescence fingerprinting of denatured proteins. This involved design and fabrication of plasmonic nanostructures using HIM, FIB and e-beam, followed by characterization (TEM, fluorescence correlation spectroscopy). Other projects include: microfluidic integration of isotachophoretic focusing with nanopore sensing, and nanopore-based quantification of SARS-CoV-2 RNA. I was also responsible for fabricating solid-state nanopore devices for other lab members and for process development and optimization in our lab's Class 100 cleanroom.

My work focused on the development of highly sensitive diagnostics based on electrokinetic focusing and separation. I have strong experience in micro-/nanofabrication, fluidics, and mass transport. At IBM Research I was part of the Precision Diagnostics team, under the supervision of Dr. Govind Kaigala. Between April 2015 and October 2016 I worked in the lab of Prof. Moran Bercovici at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel. This collaboration was funded by the Marie Curie Actions as an ITN-EID (Initial Training Network - European Industrial Doctorate).
