As well as being a great all-round Sound Designer my scripting skills make me a strong Technical Sound Designer.I gain great pleasure from solving both the aesthetic and technical problems posed every day in sound for games.I aim to progress my career in Sound within the games industry.I feel like I'm part of what is only the second generation of game sound designers. While it's fascinating learning from my mentors, we are uniquely placed to develop or discover how sound works within this burgeoning medium.Specialties: Within my department I tend to be known for:Designing & implementing systems for music triggering, mixing and loading.Technical ability solving triggering problems.In-depth knowledge of our tools and systems.Inventive use of synthesisers and using their output in sound effect editing.Strong, academic appreciation for the soundtrack which helps in developing its overall aesthetic feel.Very good people skills. I often act as a facilitator and work closely with programmers.
