Interned with the Sensors and Internet-of-Things (SIoT) capability centre- Developed signal-processing algorithms for vital signs (heart-rate and breathing-rate) monitoring using Frequency-Modulated Continuous-Wave (FMCW) Radar Systems in Python and MATLAB- Evaluated, procured, and tested commercially available sensors and improved their effectiveness- Extracted output-data from commercial sensors using serial-communication interfaces for use with an RPi single-board computer for the construction of a vital-signs monitor for use in smart gyms- Implemented multi-channel range-doppler plot generation algorithms in MATLAB and Python for future gesture-sensing projects
