Analyzed salvaged parts and repairs on the F/A-18E/F/G Forward Fuselage & LEX for static and fatigue suitability using classical and finite-element methods. In this capacity, also developed analysis templates to streamline processes, primarily in analysis of carbon-epoxy composites.Previously supported F/A-18E/F SLAP Phase B3 and Phase B4 as a stress analyst, with specialization in analysis of fuel tank stresses due to aircraft dynamics using explicit, non-linear analysis of a Lagrangian fluid. Analyzed and documented analysis locations for the Navy customer, and interfaced to address questions and comments for the customer.Supported F/A-18E/F SRM (Standard Repair Manual) development, analyzing all possible combinations of repair on structure to support in-service fleet; in this capacity also developed automation tools to analyze multiple locations and configurations for repair.

Supported F/A-18 Air Vehicle Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Product Support Team (PST) Lean+ efforts. Responsibilities included leading Kaizen events, instructing team members on Lean and Six Sigma concepts and methodology, reviewing and approving Lean+ projects. Developed and hosted cross-site training events for international teammates in order to deploy standard processes/procedures, and facilitated over 40 Lean+ projects, generating a savings of over 7,500 hours.

Wrote and revised production planning for F/A-18 forward fuselage, engaged in LEAN+ initiatives to optimize shop workflow. Interfaced with outside suppliers for production and quality improvement support.

Interfaced with shop personnel and quality engineers to write and revise planning for the F-15 ducts and center fuselage to implement quality and manufacturing process improvement.

Implemented support for legacy environmental control system (ECS) tools to support the F-15.Developed interactive GUI to examine, interrogate and track MSC Nastran Thermal results utilizing OpenGL within VB6.Revised thermal analysis suite interface utilizing in-house developed API and C++/Fortran.
